The biggest cause of our calamities is that our very own people are oppressors: Our poor are oppressors, Our rich are oppressors, Villagers are oppressors, City dwellers are oppressors, The government and police force come later.
First of all, the roots of oppression have become deep and engraved in our society.
To such an extent, that whilst oppressing one doesn't even realize the magnitude of the sin he is committing.
Whilst drinking alcohol one realizes he is sinning.
Whilst committing fornication one realizes he is sinning
Yet, whilst deceiving someone, he does not realize the magnitude of the sin being committed.
There are 3 things which demolish and destroy a civilization.
Regrettably all 3 are present in my country.
How can I complain about our leaders and political parties, when even our vendors/salesmen are guilty of those sins?
The Prophet saw. said "Shall I tell you the major sins?". The sahabah ra. said "Yes, what are they?" He saw. replied "To commit shirk, to kill someone, disobedience of parents ..." whilst narrating this, the Prophet saw. was leaning ... then he sat upright and said "Now shall I tell you? ... And lying ... And lying ... And lying ... And lying ..." He repeated this so much that the Sahabah said "We wished the Prophet saw. would stop" And in another narration it states: "Bearing false testimony ... Bearing false testimony ..."

2. Lying... Lying... Lying...
That society in which there is lying they relinquish their right to honour. Disgrace becomes their destiny.

ReplyDeleteAn opprssion nation cannot survive in honour; disgrace is its awaiting destiny.
Number 2: Lying. Such a curse in on these people ... the Prophet saw. said "Lying leads to destruction, whilst truth leads to liberty".
