One of the many sunnats of the Ambiyaa (‘alaihimus Salaam) that of Hayaa – shame and modesty, a quality which is sorely missing in the lives of the majority of Muslims today and which should otherwise be an outstanding characteristic and feature of all Muslims, whether married or un-married.

Q. what is the ruling reguarding offering food to visitors during the first 3 days after the funeral?nb,some visitors are from out of town and some from the area,that have come to read Quran.is it permissable to offer them food or even a drink

Sleeping without clothes

Q. Can I sleep nude while covering my body with a bed sheet oar blanket?

A. It is against the dictates of modesty to sleep nude. Furthermore there is always the possibility of one becoming uncovered whilst sleeping even when sleeping covered with a sheet.
